SkipM Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

SkipM is a browser extension that automatically skips intros, recaps and ads and moves to the next episode on supported streaming sites. This policy explains what it does and does not do with your data.

Data we collect

None. SkipM does not collect, record, store on our servers, or share any personal information, browsing history, viewing history, account details or page content.

Data stored on your device

SkipM saves four on/off settings (Skip Intro, Skip Recap, Auto Next and Skip Ads) using your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage.sync). If you are signed in to Chrome with sync turned on, Chrome may sync these settings between your own devices. We never receive or see them.

How the extension works

On the supported sites (Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, Crave, Crunchyroll and Apple TV+), SkipM looks for the site's own "Skip Intro", "Skip Recap", "Skip Ad" and "Next Episode" buttons and clicks them on your behalf. This happens entirely inside your browser. SkipM does not send any information to any server, does not use analytics or tracking, and does not load or run code from remote sources.

Permissions

Third parties

We do not sell, trade or transfer your data to any third party, and we do not use data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose. SkipM is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Crave, Crunchyroll, Apple or YouTube.

Children

SkipM does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
